Abdominal Ultrasound and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Services

We are proud to offer referral services for both diagnostic Abdominal Ultrasound and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. Our clinic works closely with referring practitioners to provide timely imaging and advanced regenerative treatment options to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. We are committed to clear communication, efficient scheduling, and a collaborative approach to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.

How it works:

The Barn Door reviews the case to confirm it falls within our scope and if accepted, our team will contact the client directly to schedule the procedure. On appointment day, the patient is received by Barn Door staff; the client does not enter the facility. All patients require fasting, we will provide fasting instructions (via email) to clients prior to admission.

For Abdominal Ultrasounds: High quality images are submitted to ANTECH for radiologist interpretation. The final report is sent directly to the referring veterinarian where the referring clinic remains responsible for all client communication, diagnosis, and treatment. The Barn Door will not discuss findings, treatment options, or case management with the client. All questions and follow-up care are directed back to the referring clinic

NOTE: Radiologist reports are typically returned within 24-48 hours of the appointment. Reports can be done on a STAT basis (4 hours turnaround time) for an extra fee.

For PRP therapy treatment: PRP treatments are same-day outpatient procedures. Pre-Visit Pharmaceuticals and Sedation will be required. The referring veterinarian will receive a procedure summary and aftercare recommendations.
