A parvovirus/distemper titer test is a simple laboratory blood test that measures the level of antibodies in your pet’s system. Antibodies are created when the immune system responds to a virus, bacteria, or vaccination. By checking for these antibodies, titer testing helps us evaluate your pet’s immunity and reduce the risk of unnecessary over-vaccination.

Why Titer Test?
